Judge and Jury allows students to think about what they have read and relate their own thoughts and experiences to those in the text. It also encourages them to read between the lines and use the text to figure out the message.

(1) Get the class to act out a courtroom scene involving characters from the story. Conflicts, issues or dilemmas may be addressed. Fairy tales and traditional tales are a good place to start.
